SWIM

Warm up:
Swim, easy 200 yards – mix up the strokes

Kick, easy 2×25 yards – 15 seconds recovery between 25s. Focus on kicking from the hips and keeping your toes pointed to reduce drag.

Swim, pull with buoy 4×25 – 10 seconds between 25s. Focus on your glide and getting as much length per stroke as you can.

Kick, easy 2×25 yards – 15 seconds recovery between 25s.

Swim, pull with buoy 4×25 – 10 seconds between 25s.

Main Set:

Swim, moderate pace 3×100 yards – focus on a long smooth stroke through the water

Swim, moderate pace 3×75 yards

Swim, easy pace 1×25 your choice of stroke

Swim, moderate pace 3×50 yards

Swim, fast pace 4×25 yards. Give yourself plenty of time to recover between 25s

Cool Down:
Swim, easy 200 yards – mix up the strokes
